No network reception is required — BlueTipz uses Bluetooth Low Energy technology to communicate with your device through the free app (available for Android and iOS) or the optional BlueTipz Receiver.
The BlueTipz Receiver can also extend the operating range of your BlueTipz network by acting as a bridge between the Transmitter and your phone.
Through the mobile app, the trigger angle of the Transmitter is fully programmable, making BlueTipz compatible with tip-ups, tip-downs, rattle reels, set rods for bank or dock fishing, and more.
