The BlueTipz Receiver is part of the first and only strike alert system that sends notifications directly to an angler’s smartphone (free app available for Android and iOS). When a signal is received from a BlueTipz Transmitter, the Receiver will blink and beep to alert you.
Beyond alerts, the Receiver can also extend the operating range of your BlueTipz network. Positioned between a Transmitter and your phone, it improves reliability—especially in permanent ice shacks—or serves anglers who prefer not to use their phone. A single Receiver can connect with multiple BlueTipz Transmitters.
New Feature: Receiver Linking
Receivers can now be linked together! Previously, Receivers could not “listen” to or piggyback off one another. After many requests, this feature has been added.
-Linking allows Receivers to extend range even further—potentially unlimited in theory.
-Linking works one way, so it’s important to number each Receiver for easy identification.
-Ideal for “cabin” fishing setups (where permitted).
-To enable this feature, write “Link together” in your Order Notes.
-No extra cost, but you must order two or more Receivers for linking to be activated.
